Added a new preference so that the options can be hidden from the Timescan screen. For most users, they only need to be set once and are rarely changed.
See Utility -> Preferences ->Timescan: Checkbox "Hide Options"
If you do want to have a more dynamic experience, and see the options on the Timescan screen, then deselect this checkbox option.
Finally, there is a button that will go directly to the Preferences so you can easily change the defaults as needed.
